  • Topics
    • Recent development on academic fields of optical science and optical technology have been agressively stimulated by current progresses in other fields of advanced sciences, such as material science, biological science, and so on. Especially, several agendas on elementary steps of interactions between light and matter have been carried out in-depth discussions. Furthermore, achievements of the discussions have been actively developed as various applications.

Because of these backgrounds, now It is quite important to consider novel phenomena and technologies on material science and optical science for further academic developments. At the same time, it is also important to develop their technological platforms and applications with viewpoints from information or optical information system.

Researchers and engineers in our working group focusing on interactions between light and matter, and progressing their own studies and researches in fields of information and systems. Besides, realizing various functions and application systems based on the principles.

      We are setting following themes.
      - Edification and development of research fields
      - Enhancement of domestic and international academic networks
(Activation of research community, advancement of the presence, etc.)
      - Promotion of interdisciplinary communions
(Intercommunions between researchers of materal science and information science, etc.)
      - Training young researchers
